so i found and killed two what i belive to be fungas gnats,im in my second week of flowering and dont want to use any sprays or anyting cause i dont wanna harm buds.i read on one o the threads that you should put sand over soild to amother eggs but i was oundering do you just leave the sand theiror do you remove i, how do i go about watering etc.

any suggestions?

perlite over the soil works well too. And you can just water through it. Its light and tends to float on water so it stays towards the top. Sand may mix in and eventually settle into the soil. Try a soil drench as well to kill any eggs if there are some in the soil. But safest way is to use a layer of something an inch or 2 deep on the soil. Perlite, hydroton, hygromite, whatever.

ok so i got perlite and did all that is that all i have to do or are their other messures i need to take care of.

soil drentching?
