A drug task force arrested six people during a raid of a garden supply store in Kent, Wash., the U.S. Attorney's Office said Wednesday.

A federal grand jury indictment accuses store owners and employees at Kent Garden Supplies of providing advice on how to grow marijuana and avoid law enforcement detection.

Federal prosecutors said some customers were allowed to get supplies and equipment on credit and pay back the debt with profit from their marijuana crop.

Agents also searched five south King County homes Wednesday and seized more than 1,800 marijuana plants, authorities said.

The government is seeking forfeiture of those homes and 30 bank accounts controlled by the garden shop and associates.
