The Genesee County Compassion Club will host its regular monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Aug. 6 at Colonial Lanes, 6430 Pierson Road in Mt. Morris Township.
The non-profit group provides support services for patients and caregivers participating in the Michigan medical marijuana program.
Items on the agenda include information on the state's law, cannabis education and upcoming club activities.
Volunteers are being sought for a charity event, Ride for Danny, to be held Aug. 16 at Jester's Lounge,3772 N. Center Road, Genesee Township. Those interested in volunteering are asked to come to the club meeting at 6:30 p.m. to sign up and receive details on what's needed for the event.
