Grow tent filtration

i ordered a carbon ace filter 6"x 23" and says 550 cfm. what does that mean on the filter? i ordered a ac infinity*just waiting on the mail* now the fan is 402. is that going to be a problem? am i going to need more? my tent is a 4x4 and i have budgetled growlights in it with the ballast outside the tent so the temps are as low as possible rn

4x4x?, 4x4x6 is 96 cubic ft. Even with a 25% reduction for filter and ducting the fan is still easily capable 300cfm.

oh yeah it's a 6foot height sorry. so you think this is more than enough? could this do a 4x8 you think?

4" for a 4x4 gonna be plenty. I ran a 4" in a 4x8 but had several fans and left the door open all the time. Basically the 4" fan and filter filtered the air in the whole room. Worked except for Chemdawg.
