Hello everybody, as the title says I've been working on setting up my new, BIG growing tent and I've encountered some problems.
This is the gear that I'm using:
Secret Jardin 240cmx240cmx200cm tent
4 600watts HPS dual spectrum with 125mm cooltubes
Can Fan ISO MAX 1480 m3/h 250mm (extract fan)
CAN-Lite carbon filter 1500m3/h 250mm
PrimaKlima Fan 800m3/h 160mm(Insert fan)
Yesterday I finally tried turning on the lights after setting everything up. And the heat felt like it was surely gonna be a problem. I connected ducting>extractfan> 4 cooltubes>carbon filter. The thing is that the cooltubes is like half the size as the Can fan ISO MAX 1480m3 im using, so i had to use reducers to make it work.
Anyway, the airflow felt REALLY weak so I decided that it's probably for the best to skip the ductings through the cooltubes and just go with the fan and the carbon filter ducted directly together. Is this a proper judgement? Or should i try to get larger cooltubes that fits with my 250mm carbon filter and fan?
I have an insertion fan too, that will give me cool, fresh air directly from the window. The tent currently has 2 holes for air, can I make another one for inserting air through the cool tubes and then out again? Like window>ducting>insertfan>ducting>cooltubes, ductings>out of window. to cool the lights down? Or will the heat be under controll with this setup?
Please let me know what you think and if you need any information or setup links of the items im using, just let me know! Sorry for my bad english, not main.
