Heating pad good ?

I saw on a growers dvd that putting a heating pad under my ladies while they are in the seedling/sprout stage will promote healthy plants as well as speed up the growing process. Is there any validity to this ? It's my first grow attempt and I need all the help I can get. I have already done it so if it is bogus, I can always yank it out. Thanxxx...

yes absolutelty. For seed starting. Not too hot though. Around 75 is good. Don't need it after they start vegging though.
