Hi Reservoirdog, nice to meet you here Thank you for your warm welcome Looking forward to be a part of the community and contribute as much as I can! But I guess that will take some time as I’ve still got much to learn about growing The help ,love and expertise of the advanced growers in this forum already has me coming on every time I have a break to learn bits and parts.Hiya Whipped, welcome to the best forum online! Looking forward to your contributions, of any kind. Way more important here to be respectful, take constructive criticism enthusiastically and stuff like that, than being a stud grower with lots of bud-porn pics from yer grow-show - orders of magnitude more important. Everyone has something to contribute and these people helped me find what I had to give, which is a lot harder than just teaching someone how to grow weed - which they are kindly doing too! Ha!
Let us know if you need help getting those critters ID'd or some ideas for an integrated pest management system, which is the way to go. Best to think of it as a security system than a defensive or offensive tactic. Security must be always-on, and have multiple levels to be successful. Order up some diatomaceous earth for under 10$, you need it, and you'll have level one licked. Some neem oil is req'd also from my perspective and can be applied prophylactically during vegetation or first 4-6 weeks before buds form. Sticky traps are great for leapers and flyers. But, the D. Earth will get you a good way home.
Welcome to one of the best hobbies of them all.
Thanks for the tips on the “security system” it’s perfect to describe the care and protection we need to apply to the lovely plants !
I’ll be updating my ladies progress and my fingers crossed she’ll make it to harvest.
wishing you a happy weekend
