Help - In serious trouble!

Need help with humidity! Humidity in my grow tent (4x4x80in) has been high. I am now on a 12/12 lighting cycle and my humidity gets to low 70% at night and low 60% during the day. The tent is in a basement which is humid to begin with. I purchased a small dehumidifier which was pretty much useless and recently a large dehumidifier that pull a lot of moisture out of the tent but I can't seem to get down to 50%. What is your inline fan ? how do you pull air in and out ?

Urban Farmer 6" Inch Inline Duct Booster Fan 240 CFM which sucks in the sides of the tent even though I have two 6 inch passive inlets and the lower vents opened during the day.

But I wonder what is your humidity outside the tent ?

i have an 8 inch inline fan. its blowing so much. if your air outside is around 40-50 you would be able to lower it inside if you have good air circulation.

the humidity outside the tent is also high (basement) around 60%

good point - was hoping my oversized dehumidifier would keep up - the tent still gets up to 70% at night when the lights r off.

if you can lower the humidity of your basement it would be good.

Ho well. thats hard to remove the humidity from this space
