we are going to grow for the first time. i've done a fair amount of research and i've read when to top but i'm not sure how...i dont want to do it the wrong way or nething. so if neone could help that would be much appreciated

To be honest toppin is easy. At first when i first topped yeah i was worred but to be honest u could cut cut cut a MJ plant and it could still live. I like to Clip the top about a week or so before flowerin so it can heal and get out of shock so once in flowerin it will be ready to go. I would say at least once its like 4 weeks old u cut clip and all u do it cut the newest growth off at a 45 degree angle.

I prefer not to top but it's everyones choice but I would say early in the veg. state.
But you said how so in that case just pinch the top of the plant
