How to tell when autos start flowering?

Are these hair things an indicator of the plant starting to flower?
Any advice would be appreciated, thanks

Short answer: Yes! If you haven’t already, start ramping up your P&K, once the stretch is done, decrease N.

What do you mean by p&k?
N as in nitrogen?

Those hairs are an indication of maturity. When you see clusters (3 or more hairs together) that is the beginning of flower.

P=Phosphorus, K=Potassium, more red light will help.
