HPS tin shade question

Would bending my tin shade affect buds my strawberry banana auto flower is 7ft tall it should only grow to 5ft my other auto is only 4ft ive had to put her on a box. The strawberry banana auto wont stop growing ive snapped it down twice here is a couple of pics

I’m not sure manipulating the reflector will accomplish much in the long run….but I do think I’d keep morphing the plant shape and positioning it to grab as many photons as possible.

She’s well into flower so don’t think topping will slow her down one iota now

Thanks pal I will tie her down I need to do it without it snapping I don't want it to hermie from stress. I don't think I explained properly I was going to bend shade up so top of plant got light I will just mess with the shape as u suggest if it snaps again while bending I will top thanks
