humidity?

Humidity is around 30%. I know it should be at least 40%. How detrimental is this & what r ramifications? Thanx

Hi Kabloom ! I don't know what kind of setup you have, but I also had a problem of low humidity. I solved by cutting an old towel in pieces, than soaking couple them in water, take off the excess water and then hanging them in my grow box around the plants. By doing that, I've successfully raised humidity level to 50-55%. I've notice appreciation from the plants, they like it better when it's more humid ! peace !

You want from 70°-90° Fahrenheit and 50%-70% humidity for vegetative growth and 30%-50% humidity for flowering. If you still need to raise your humidity I would either place a cool mist humidifier in your grow area or in the area where your air intake is from.

Here's how I raised my humidity from 30% to 50%....I placed a 5 gal bucket full of water and added a submersible fish tank pump just below the surface so it bubbles.,..have a fan blowing directly on the bucket and humidity jumped 20%!!!!
