Not really any tips on measuring ppm or ec. I just follow what it says on the bottle when I try something new. After I start to see the lady's react to it I adapt (one of the advantages to running the same strains for so long.) I have heard of Moab and use it's FAR less expensive base. It's a monopoly potassium phosphate base. I get mine $12 for 2 pounds on Amazon. I use the mpk with all my grows and I think it works pretty well.
