Studying would help dramatically with a basic question like this but none the less..

18/6 light/dark for veg is fine and 12/12 is the budding cycle. There are a wide variety of opinions based on the experience of other growers but these two photoperiods are widely accepted.

You can tell that you're new here. You need to make sure that you read up before you start growing.

It would be awesome to read something like Marijuana Horticulture before you start growing.

And use nutrients that rock (like Advanced Nutrients) since light alone doesn't make for an amazing grow.
