Lazy outdoor grow

I would post this in the how to grow forum, but I am not allowed yet, but I have a question.

I have quite a few dirt weed seeds and I was thinking of planting them in some nearby woods. Could I simply dig a hole, and throw them in the ground and every few days and expect them to grow? I don't really have the time or resources to day any more right now. The most I could do is put them in a cup first than plant them in the ground once they grow. Do you think I should do that, or just put the seeds in the ground?

Also how deep in dirt should the seeds be buried?

Cannabis grows like weeds. Sow seeds in the sun and grow some fun.
If the site can support life, clear it away and bury a seed there.
Less depth is better but if the seedling dries it dies.
