Leaf wilting and darkening problem

Recently the leafs on my plant started wilting a little. I think they are getting a little better, but I still don't know whats wrong. My dumb ass friend keeps telling me the lights are to close. He tells me flouros need to be 1ft. away, but I know thats not right. I am growing these for him. He has no idea what hes doing. I think it could be some kinda nutrient problem. What do yall think?

Well I water once a week. He got that moisture control shit, and I think it may be bad that it absorbes water like that. I haven't given them any nutes but the potting soil has some time release in it.They get 500mL of water a week. I don't really know if that is to much. Thats always a problem for me trying to figure out how much to water.

looks like a pH problem bro, note the disfigured leaves. Check ur pH, bet it's low.

Better low than high though, if it is high you might be expecting a male or a hermi if it goes untreated and remains high.
