Light trap on window?

I heard the term light trap used and understand the idea but not sure how to achieve it. Can you do a light trap on a window? so the window can be open and breath but light will not escape?

At most basic, a light trap is a maze of sorts. If you had a Z shaped hollow box, and painted the inside flat black, air could pass but the light would have to turn 2 corners to get through. Without anything inside to reflect the light, it won't make it through. Most flexible duct works fine as a light trap, even without being blacked out inside.

You want to build one that fits in the window, so the window can remain 1/2 open and draw air yet you can also lock with a stick in the tracks.

I suggest that instead of this get uninsulated ducting and attach it to a board that fits the window cracked 4 or 6 inches open. then get a little fan inline fan and just pump the air in from the fan.
