Joe Kramer of Tyrone, PA was arrested for smoking a marijuana
cigarette in the smoking section of the Red Lobster Restaurant in Centre
County, PA. The arrest occurred in the afternoon of April 20, 2001.
Mr. Kramer smoked the cigarette as a political protest against
marijuana prohibition. After his meal, he smoked the cigarette and was
asked to leave by the management. He said that he would not leave until he
finished his cigarette. The Patton Township police were called to make the
arrest.
The police will formalize the arrest by citation, so Mr. Kramer
