Rhode Island - A Warwick facility that helps patients enroll in Rhode Island's medical marijuana program has gotten its state health license. B & B Consulting said Tuesday it received its ambulatory care facility license from the health department for its Medical Marijuana Evaluation Center. Medical staff will examine patients and review health records to determine whether they're eligible to receive medical marijuana from an approved dispensary. The center will fill out the required paperwork and send it to the health department for approval. Owner Jessica Cotton says B & B is the only such evaluation center in Rhode Island. She says she opened it because she's seen many patients with debilitating conditions who want to access medical marijuana but don't know how. Her husband uses medical marijuana for his multiple sclerosis.
