CIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico Mexican officials have discovered eight and a-half tons of marijuana stored at a house in a luxurious neighborhood of Ciudad Juarez.

Claudia Banuelos with the federal attorney general's office today announced the drugs were found in nearly 27-hundred plastic-wrapped packages in three rooms.

Officials have not yet determined who owns the house in the Country Racquet neighborhood of Juarez, which is across the border from El Paso, Texas.

Police also found two rifles in the house.
