MGC Pharmaceuticals has received regulatory approval to market its medical cannabis-based cosmetics line in Canada.
Health Canada gave the cannabidiol-based skin care range the green light, becoming the third market the company has the go-ahead to enter in as many months. Regulatory approval was granted in the US and Europe and is pending in Australia.
"MGC Pharmaceuticals has moved forward with its commercialization strategy for its CBD cosmetics range at a rapid pace, delivering key regulatory approvals, distribution agreements and commencing sales in recent months. Our approval from Health Canada is another strong step forward, enabling us to expand our geographic sales reach for the products into Canada which has a very progressive attitude and legislation for medicinal cannabis and related product markets," commented Nativ Segev, Co-founder and Managing Director.
