Is it a bad idea to touch your buds checking for tricomes or for any other reason.does it cause mold to start

Doesn't cause mold but only handle the buds when you have too.

Touching will not cause mold The reasons for catching mold are high RH, constant rain, lowering of temps at night, and genetics that is not suited too moist climates.

I use latex gloves, mum always said better safe than sorry.
