Ok I used to grow about 10 years ago and stopped, recently started up again for a hobby and to grow my wife some medicinal for her Multiple Sclerosis... I germinated my 1st seeds of some bag weed seeds to get my feet wet again on Dec 1st 2018. I ran those in a 60/40 Soil/Perlite but decided to go with Coco once i cloned them. I cloned these on Dec 31st and they rooted on Jan 11th 2019. *see pic below

Once rooted I veg for about a week in 6" pots under 4 bulb T12 flouros

January 23rd I transplanted them into 7 gallon pots with a 60/40 Perlite/Coco mix and heres where im at

I also changed the lights to a 432 w 8 bulb High Output T5. (4) 6500k bulbs and (4) 2900k 20hrs on/4 off Temps Day highest 81F/ Night lowest 72F
Nutes are TechnaFlora - Im feeding once per day full nutes @ 800ppm not including water ppm- PH between 5.8-6.2 . Runoff about 20-30%
Veg mix per gallon
15mils BC Boost 3-0-2
7.5mil BC Grow 1-3-6
2.5mil Thrive Alive Red 1-1-1
2.5mil MagiCal 2-0-0
10mil Sugar Daddy
2.5mil Silica Blast 0-0-0.5
10mil Root66 1-1-1 Only added this once a week (Should I use this with every feeding?)
Heres a few pics
Pic 1 is on Jan 11th clones rooted
Pic 2 is Jan 16th 6" pots
Pic 3 is Jan 23rd 7 gallon Pots
Pics 4 - 5 & 6 Jan 30 Low Stress Training and topped a handful of shoots
Pic 7 Today Feb 1st

My questions are
Can I split the nute feedings into 2 feedings a day at 400ppm each instead of 1 feeding at 800ppm?
Should I use the Root66 in every feeding or should I only use it once a week like I have been?

Can you split feedings .. yes - but why not mix up one batch at 800 and feed your plants 2x daily? Some growers feed their plants 3 - 4 x per day in bloom - if your plants are loving their feedings - give them more love. Some other growers are changing the 12 hours off time - to 2 hours off at a time .. for a total of 12 hours! Give your plants what they need - you have plenty of light and very healthy plants. There are so many variables - keep track of what your plants love. Not familiar with Root 66 - but if it's mycrorizzae sp? .. you only need it for transplants.

I believe if it isn't broke why break it. Sometimes, I admit that's part of the fun though...

So, that being said.

1. If they're taking 800 and show no signs of trouble, I'd be inclined to give them the 800 feed twice and see how that goes. If they're healthy, I have no problem putting them on double rations ;) I see no reason to go down to 400.

But, I'd keep a close eye on them for signs of excess.

2. I don't run that line, lots of smaaat folks do though, so I looked up the product and it seems they say to use it all through in soiless. I dunno, you have the product...... they want you to buy more. It's never easy to decide but I fall back to the,,, if it ain't broke.......

Good luck. Looks good. Good for you for growing for a cause, hope it helps her. And, both of you. Best wishes.

Thanks for the feed back... Just didnt know about splitting feedings since i have read alot of people feed multiple times a day and are having huge results so i was gonna change the feed schedule but didnt know if I should continue with 800ppm for both feedings for a total of 1600 ppm per day or just continue on with the 800 ppm per day split to 400 ppm per watering.. Didnt want to builkd up to much excess salts in the coco

I have heard of that lighting schedule for veg stage but not flower, have you used the 2 on 2 off schedule for flower?

I'm just a newbie here, but I remember an article that came from a seed company, that delved into breaking up the 12 hours into 2 hour segments of on/off. (That lead me to believe that - there are many "methods" that just haven't been tried YET!) I haven't learned near enough yet for that, I'm still flying by the seat of my pants, and the grace of the other contributors here.

Your plants look good, are they smelling yet? My wife has finally gotten used to the smell. As mentioned this is my first Coco grow, and the differences between soil and coco are phenomenal. Here are my ladies: 2x Afghani Kush, and 2x CBDCritical - they are going into bloom in 2 days. I hate to bore people - but in my first soil grow - I had so many gnats .. and managed "start to finish", also "root rot set in" .. with 1.6 ounces of pot.
Now in my first Coco grow, I have already drawn off 4 pounds of trim - these plants just don't know the word "quit"! I never thought I would hear myself say: "stop growing"... but these ladies are just phenomenal.. I've had some hospital issues, and occasionally hope that the plants won't grow so fast when my wife has to look after them.

Enjoy your plants, when I get home from the hospital .. I see my Wife 1st, then my dog, then my plants ....
