My new soil grow,need guidance and advice.

Sorry to report that my last grow,White Widow,had to be cut 3weeks early due to severe leaf damage,probably caused by PH issues.What I want to know is if I flush adequately and then pour water/feed PH at 6.5,will that be fine and help to prevent leaf problems in the future.Will it correct my PH? Basically, growers,in laymans terms,explain the best way to keep my plants healthy. OH,AND I ONLY GOT ONE LOUSY OUNCE FROM 10 WEEKS OF EFFORT. GUTTED,PLEASE HELP.
