My Plants Deficiency and Other Issues

Hi,

I have this one plant that is too far gone to save but I thought I’d learn from it so I am posting it for advice from more experienced growers.

The plant is a high CBD Harlequin strain that I let get too warm when a seedling, thus the stunted growth. Leaves were growing very weird as well. My bad.

Then after it’s first light feeding the leaves started to lighten from the inside centre, outward. Looking that up it, pointed to an Fe deficiency. Probably due to a Ph lockout as I was using Ph strips that, in hindsight, don’t work worth a shit. Have since got a ph pen.
I flushed her with ph7 water but she never recovered. Flushing her also caused her to droop as now she was overwatered. Took forever to dry out.

At this point she is about 46 days in, looking really weak, and maybe 10” high with a stalk the thickness of a skewer.

Your thoughts and opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @mrking and welcome to the forum! :welcome:

I think your plant has every sign of being watered too often. It is almost impossible to give too much water in one watering session to overwater our plants, but it is very common to not let the lower roots dry out between waterings, and this will eventually kill a weed. Your plant looks like it is heading that way, but you can still save it.
Tell me please how often you water and whether you are doing this on a fixed schedule or whether you are somehow determining that it is time to water using some other method. I suspect that in your watering methods we will find the solution to your mystery.

Ah, yes. This is a first grow and this seed was later than others so it was outside of the watering schedule of the others. Memory serves me that it had the tips curled for some time when it was younger.

Great input. Thanks!!
