Need Help Growing

Ok so this is going to be my 1st attempt... but I need to kno what i need to get...
I want to just grow 1 plant... but I really want LED... but I cant find anything under $500... for light that will do all the cycles..

What kind of dimensions are you working with in your grow space? The amount of room is largely going to dictate what and how many bulbs you will be able to put in there safely.

Personally, I would go with Metal Halide or High Pressure Sodium bulbs if you can deal with the heat in a economical way. I'm not knocking LED in any way as many grows get great results with them, but considering this is your first grow I wouldn't make the plunge to LEDs unless you got cash to burn. It's better to get your feet wet first or else you might find yourself neck deep. CFLs are another good option if you can't deal with the heat of MH or HPS and you can still grow some amazing MJ with them.

you can get a 150 watt HPS for like $60, which is plenty to grow one plant you would then have plenty to get a carbon scrubber, tent, etc.
