Need Quick Light Help!

My 250w HPS just let the smoke out of its electronics right in the 5th week of flower of a Critical Sensi Star grow.

Luckily the local shop is open and I can get a replacement today.

That said, I have had my eye on a LED setup. Would switching to an LED this late in the game screw things up, or should I just get another HPS?

If you are switching to LED anyway and the panel has equivalent output I think you should be OK. "Critical Sensi Star seeds are easy to grow, they have a good resistance to mould and mushroom and cope well with a mild stress." You are early in flower.

Thanks. I think my biggest concern will be the change in cabinet temps, but I should be able to manage that.

I think you're right about a bit on the early side of flower. I figure I have 4 weeks to go. My plan was to start a 10 day flush around 4/20 if things look right, then 48 hours of total darkness.
