Well I've had a seedling for about 2 in a half weeks an is now starting to stretch a lil but not much at all. The first set of truu leaves haven't grew much as well as the second set which as of 2 days ago just grew. I'm wondering wat I could do to get a lil more as far as growing wise. I am using a 13watt cfl plus the good Lord's sunshine wen there's enough sun. I haven't feed anything really except 2drops of molasses in a cup of tap a week ago. This is only my second time an my first was good but it wasn't the best an wasn't really that big. I am doing only one grow so I want to get a good size for a fall harvest. Please if u know of anything natural an/or organic that could help me help would be awesome. An I do research so I'm not just askin for hand outs lol thanks stoners and growers an keep tokin!!

This is from three days ago. I'll post another later.

Hey There,
she looks water logged... the dirt she is growing in needs to breath because the dampened compacted dirt is taking too long to dry out. She needs more heat from a strong light source

The soil does look compact, and maybe acidic. I would find some better soil, mix some perlite with it if it doesn't contain it already, and gently transplant. It's really hard to work with poor soil.

Once a seed is in some moist soil it should not need watering until its first set of true leaves appear. The first true leaves are the ones that look like cannabis leaves and not the round ended ones. Then only water gently just keeping the soil moist and not wet. Some perlite mixed into the soil would aid aeration and keep water close to the seedling without drowning it.

well its been a min my fone has just gave up on taking any pics but finally I found a way lol well an update on my lil sunshine shes doing great!!! still using the sun light til it sets then 5 to 6 hours under the lights. comments questions and advice are very welcomed!! thanks and happy stoning and growing!!

Looking good! and i do the same with keeping them in the sun all day and then under cfl's for the remainder of the 18 hrs. The days are getting longer so less time under cfl's. :thumb:

well heres a lil update on the lil lady. so I finally got some root growth going on an transplanted to my bigger pot for its final home yesterday. an I got a temp/humidity gadget that works pretty good. last night it got down to like 77degsF an 41% humidity. todays a sunny day so shes sittin in the window with temps of 82.5degsF an 40% humidity. now even tho she In the window do I need to keep the humidity up or am I ok??? now I seen this really neat technique an wanted to try it out. it says it helps with maximizing the light to the leaves trying to grow at the bottom or in between nodes an fan leaves. the way u do it is takin a SMALL piece of tape and ONLY tape the TIP OF THE FAN LEAF an gently pull the stem down and tape it down. bein careful not to damage any roots tho. but I think its working great. but im not sure if I should clip the tips of the fan leaves hopefully in the pics I post u can tell me if I should or not. not so far shes happy so that makes me happier!!!! even tho as I type my humidity is going further down. but I guess only cuz shes out in the open and not in her box. well thanks for reading and viewing ur comments questions and advice truly does help me out!!! so thanks for all of it and keep it going :circle-of-love: :circle-of-love: :cheer: :cheer:

I tried using the tape to hold down the fan leaves, it works but doesn't hold for very long, I even tried duct tape and it still pulled its self free... check my grow journal for a simple diy alternative. Other than that she's looking good! :goodjob:

well I gave up on the tape thing just gonna let her go an do her thing and man has she!!!!! temps have been staying up between 80 and 86 degsF during lights on and around 70 and 77 degsF at night and the humidity during lights on is around 62% an 48%. not doing anything different and she doesn't seem to mind it at all. welp heres the pics.
