Newbie! Can you check my set up please :)

I live in a shared house so its important that my landlord doesn't find out so I'm going for a stealth setup.

It is designed to be nearly silent, to fit in my closet and to be cheap. Also to have space for 2 plants.

Here is what I'm thinking about buying, please tell me if I am missing anything:

40cm x 40cm x 120cm grow tent £40
45W 2700k CFL grow lamp bulb £10
E27 light socket £3
CARBON FILTER 100mm 4" HYDROPONICS £20
15 cm computer fan £10
10 litre pots x2 £10
expanded clay aggregate 5 litres £8
Miracle gro potting mic 8 litres £4
Sand from beach £ n/a

45 Watts of cfl light won't get you very far and £10 seems very expensive.

stay away from miracle grow if you can

And sand from the beach? it might be a bit salty?

The expanded clay aggregate is used in hydroponics, usually.

My advice is:

Start a Grow Journal and you will get all the advice and help you need.

Just to give you an idea this was grown under 45w cfl (4000k) just to keep it alive.

Great for keeping things alive - but won't give you anything in the end.

I would recommend you to wait until you get a proper place where you can install proper equipment. unless you're just doing it for fun. and that bulb is for flower period only.
