Outdoors PH?

Just wondering...how do you address PH when you are growing outdoors?
I'm no expert, been growing indoors for about a year. I figure most of my problems have been PH related.

Is rain water PH just right? Garden hose water?

geeeze....

In the ground, or containers? Doesn't matter, really.

I lime both my soil garden and container mixes (same mix for everything, veggies and mj), this pretty much keeps everything buffered into a good pH range.

IDK the pH of rain water, I'm sure it varies by location. My tap is a bit over 7, but that varies also. I use it straight from the hose.

With the lime and a healthy soil, it just doesn't seem to matter much what the pH of the water is, or the teas, or nutes, if used.
