Pennsylvania: States With Current Medical Marijuana Initiatives Or Bills

This May Pennsylvania joined the growing list of states to introduce some sort of medical marijuana legislation. HB1393, introduced by Rep. Mark Cohen (D-Philadelphia), is now seeking to provide much needed relief to Pennsylvania's sick, severely injured, and dying.

The bill seeks to provide a state registry program that would allow a patient to grow up to six plants, and possess once ounce of usable cannabis. The program would also allow a patient's caregiver the same protection, and would regulate compassion centers where patients could obtain their medicine.

Your help is needed to gain continued support for this issue. Please contact your Pennsylvania representative today, and let them know you want medical marijuana protection. You can also get involved with various organizations working to further the progress of HB1393, like Pennsylvanians for Medical Marijuana.
