Has anyone had a similar problem to this, I turned off my pH meter before washing it off so it would say zero. Now every time I turn it on it has a starting pH of about 2.xx something. Is that fine? Or should I get a new one or somehow reset it?
Mine does something similar. You. can usually recalibrate them by mixing up known high and low ph solutions and following the instructions. You can get calibrating solutions online or you can get some distilled water and test the meter, it should read 7.0 with distilled water.
