i just bought my hydrofarm hothouse i plan on putting seeds that have soaked in superthrive water into rockwool 1x1 that has also soaked in superthrive
my question is do i keep a low leavel of water in the hothouse and also do i put it under my 4ft 40wt floros
I have the exact same question!! I just bought this and it is really awesome. The dome is very fragile - the corner of mine tore slightly.
I used plugs which fit into the tray quite nicely...then use a dropper and make the medium moist. There is quite a bit of heat coming out of the vents when I open them - this thing surely stayed humid. Now that I found the dropper to work really well (it's quick), I sort of abandoned the idea of filling the Hot House with Super-thrived water. Each of the pots within the tray have holes at the bottom so filling the lower tray with your supercharged water (Superthrive) would keep the medium moist. Not sure if it's worth the work, though. Anyone with comments on this product? I, so far, love it.
