CHICAGO Police say they've seized more than six-(m)million-dollars worth of marijuana as part of their investigation of an alleged drug-trafficking ring that's moved cannabis and cocaine from Mexico to Chicago.

Police say the Friday raid on a garage in Cicero was the latest in a series of operations in the Chicago area targeting a group that's suspected of supplying narcotics to the city's Latin Kings gang.

In addition to the 850 pounds of marijuana, police also uncovered five assault weapons in the garage.

The investigation has led to three arrests over the past two months. And police say more arrests are expected.
