Post-traumatic Chronic Pain
I was in a car wreck eight years ago, and I got three compression fractures in my back. Because of the way that I got tossed around, they are all at opposing angles to one another. I am allergic to narcotics and muscle relaxers, and I don't react well to anti-imflammatories, so I self-medicate with marijuana. It enables me to have a decent quality of life. With it, I can run, lift weights, and do my job, caring for the elderly and disabled. Without it, I'm one of them.
