if i take a clone from a 2 week old plant and let the clones root for 2 weeks will they be 2 weeks or 4 weeks old? and after i let the clone root do i have to veg for a while or can i go straight to 12/12

a clone is as old as its mother. So your clone would be basically be 4 weeks old in gentetics however it's still only 2 weeks old as far as how large it is. A clone will reach maturity faster then a seed because it is already older when it starts. However just because you take a clone from a old mother doesn't mean its ready to go to 12/12 right off the bat. You should let the clone grow to maturity before flowering to get the most yield. With that said, you can start 12/12 at any time. You don't have to wait till the plant reaches maturity. You'll most likely end up with a smaller yield though.
