Question: Moisture desicant packets

Here's my situation and a question for you all.

I have a couple hundred seeds of awesome quality, ranging from 6 months to 5 years old. I've kept them in the fridge in a cigar box with misc. things (papers, one hitter, and some really awesome pollen). Along with these things i put a few of those little silicone moisture prevention packets that you find in electronics or pill bottles.

I've been trying like hell to get some beans to pop, but no luck. In all I've lost about 20...maybe more.

Did I ruin the seeds with the damn packets? I've never read anything about this. Let me know what you think.

If my BOG seeds are f*cked I'm gonna come unglued.

Peace,
AP

Possible. Electronics desiccant are made to pull all moisture out of pack, so you could have dried them out. Scarify the seeds before you germinate them and say a prayer lol.
