Hello all, I have a question on plant harvest time, If a certain strain says ideal harvest time is late October for example how is that time effected when you start your seeds under lights weeks before putting them out or when your using clones that might be 6 or 8 weeks old when planted in the ground for example? Also doesn't the plant start flowering based on when your lighting in your area starts to change and daylight hours get shorter? Thanks everyone in advance.

If they are outdoors now the answer is, it dont affect harvest time. The time the plan is ready for Harvest will be dictated by outdoor conditions and the Sun. The outdoor light cycle will tell the plant when to kick into flower mode and the plant wolf of flower out from there.

That is one thing they fail to tell you. Outdoor harvest time could be lots different from region to region. The amount of light they need to put them in flower is going to come at different times. They can't finish tell they start flowering.

More breeders are giving regional info now but mostly it is on the grower. The biggest way this info will help is with knowledge of your region and when first frost might show up. Some areas this won't matter but in most it will. Be sure the harvest time they suggest is within your growing window you have.
