Reflector problems!

i cant seem to find any heat shields for any 8 inch reflectors anywhere. im about to be running a 1000w hps in a 3x3x92" closet and im gonna have some heat issues. ive already figured out how im going to vent the air from my 8" duct out of the door and then also putting a 6 inch fan inside of my door with variable switch.

anybody got any ideas? or know of a shield that will fit my hood?

I think you would be better of looking at an air cooled reflector, a 1000w hps in that space is going to be toasty.

I do have an air cooled reflector im just trying to go the extra mile here. im sure once i hook up my rig ill run it for a few hours to see temps..im installing a 6inch fan inside/outside of my door that i ordered off amazon. and the air from my reflector will come out the top of the door.

What type of reflector is it? Hopefully you have a dimmable ballast, and a lense for the hood. Also running some CO2 would be a good idea to allow your girls to withstand the hotter temp

8inch extreme lightin hood and unfortunatly i dont have a dimmable ballast idkkk whats ima do but well see
