Reusing soil?

so i just pulled a male out from my grow area and i already had a small plant growing outside in a window sill type of pot. i want to reuse the soil from the plant i just pulled...but dont know if i should do my best to get all the old plant roots out? or if there is anything else i should do??

As long as your old plant didn't have any kind of pest or diease problem I would think it would be alright to reuse the soil. Get a shifter and just run all your dirt through it and it will catch all the roots. Probally have em at walmart for cheap.
