Robbers Hold Up Sebastopol Medical Marijuana Patient

Two men armed with shotguns and pistols forced their way into a medical marijuana patient's home this morning by pretending to be police officers and made off with an undisclosed amount of pot.

The Sonoma County sheriff's department says the robbers wore ski masks and shirts with the word "Police" printed on them and identified themselves as officers after knocking on the door. When the patient and her husband opened, the men pointed guns at the couple, demanded money and bound them.

The robbers also beat the husband and used a stun gun on him.

Investigators are trying to determine if it was a random attack or if the robbers knew the couple had medical marijuana in the house. Authorities say the robbers escaped with both dried pot and marijuana plants.

A sheriff's department spokesman says cases of people impersonating police officers are rare in Sonoma County.

If the robbers would have used the money they spent on the guns and POLICE shirts they could have grown their own. Lazy bastards. On top of that they beat the guy. Just take the herb, dont beat the guy up. I guess that's what this world is coming to.
