how often can i water my clones? They are in four inch cubes

I have two 6x6x6" cubes, and water, 4 times a day for 20 minutes at a time.

They hold moisture really well, so anymore than that is unnecessary...Hope that helps.

can i reuse rockwool more than once?

no, because the old root structure, remains in the cube, and you cant get it out without destroying it, it will eventually decay and cause major root rot.

Use the weight of the cube to help you decide when to water. Usually the plant will tell you when to water/feed.

Hey guys, I've popped 13 bagseeds put them all in rockwool cubes and put them inside of a dome. But the dome is sweating alot, should I take it from being air tight? I open it twice a day to get air....Or should I leave it open where air can flow thru the dome @ all times....

I would vent more often. Seedlings do not need such high humidity. Clones, however, do. ;-)

Agreed with Ms. Fox, as long as high heat is not an issue, seedlings shouldnt need a dome at all. They have all the fuel to grow right from the start, while cuttings need to survive while they begin to grow roots...

i buy my rockwool for 7 dollars for eight. i think that is good. there is no way to really tell if they are dry by weight ,because i have about 100. i don't need to be lifting every one every couple days. i just need to know if once a day is enough.
