Hello this is my first grow and it's been going well however this one plant seems to have white fuzzy roots growing out the drainage hole. I'm assuming this means it's time to transplant but I don't want to damage the emanating roots. What should I do?

Re: Roots growing out of pot, how to transplant

Don't worry about the roots coming through the drain hole. They will probably pull through it intact.

Even if they did break off it would just stimulate more root branching. It's not enough roots to cause stress to plant.

I would not transplant just because the roots are showing up there. when I transplant, I mostly see the first roots growing out of the drainage holes after 4-5 days...
Better indicators are the age and size of your plant.
