Should I cut the stem here?

Hello, when I was topping I accidently cut off too much and what should have become 2 nodes is now just a closed up scar. My plant has begun focusing on the nodes below- but I have two big fan leaves blocking a lot of light. Should I remove the leaves or cut the stem here? What would happen if I did, would the plant regrow the stem or just cover the wound with scar tissue?

can you shoot a pic from a little farther out - kinda need to see whats going on and the grow style it has good close up though

I'd leave it alone.

I'd keep the fan leaves, as they provide nutrients to the plant, and would remove the fan leaves only if absolutely necessary, but I wouldn't cut the stem again. Just let her grow.

Your can easily cut it of. The plant has lots of other leaves to catch the light. Those to top leaves will only cast a big shadow on the lower part of your plant, and prevent the light from getting down there.

I would cut if of, so the energi is send to the top branches and not the top leaves.
