Dinafem - Critical Kush - 250W HPS - First Grow

Hey everyone

Welcome to my very first grow and of course, also my first grow jurnal.I finally got all my pics resized and uploadet to the site (via mobile phone at work).

I say it again. Thank god for smartphones

Here is some stats from my closet
Strain - Critical Kush, from Dinafem.
Light - 250w HPS. For veg and bloom.
Ventilation - 100mm in-line outtake fan with attached carbon filter.
intake is a 80mm cpu fan.
Humidifier to keep that humidity up.
I use the nutrients line from Biobizz. Have read I don't need the whole line, but it's my first grow. I will only get more experience from here
I got, Bio Grow, Bio Bloom, Bio Heaven, Top Max and Alc-A-Mic.
Soil is Biobizz Lightmix. I grow in 15L smartpot, as the final pot.

Very bushy

I switched to 12/12 yesterday, after 4 weeks in veg.

Hope you all like it so far. If you spot anything. Any kind of pest or sickness, please let me know It is my very first grow, so I am on the learning curve.

Looks like you've got everything nicely under control. No fuss, no nonsense.

I'm afraid I know nothing about growing under HPS. My first grow is under LEDs. But you have a fine looking girl with a smashing root system. Subbed.

She suffered from a bit of heat stress the first few weeks, but the humidifier could help me lower temp in there.

After only 3 days in flower. My girl is really starting to show me her feminine side

Are you planning to defoliate at all to expose some light to the lower buds? (I'm just stealing myself to do just that )

Yeah, I am planing to defoilate it. Think I'm gonna wait until it has ben flowering for a week, and then I lollipop it and trim it. Maby some more trimming later on

So, first week in flower is today and i must say, she is looking good. So far I couldnt be more happy with a first grow
I have ben doing som defoliation, to get more light penetration don to lover bud sights.

I have feed it one time in flower so far.

Here you can see i have trimmed it quite a lot. I even end up trimming it out some more when i got it under the growlight. There were some very dark spots over some side branches, with good bud potential.

Still bend down. I will remove those, week 2 of flower.

And im back again with another update! I've been very busy during christmas and new year

My girl is currently in her fourth week of flower. A couple of more days, and she has been flowering for 4 weeks.

This is day 20, and ready for some defoliation. I would have waited until day 21, but something came up.

And after defoliation. I hit her hard this time!

Here is some pictures of when she hit the third week of flowering.

I'm happy with my results so far. To see the frost realy building up already. It pleases me

Very nice man, my buds started frosting up around the same time, in about a week or so the amount of frost is going to double!

Back again with a new update. I have been so very busy these past few month. Haven't had the time to update my jurnal, and I'm sorry about that.
I have just harvested my girl a couple days ago. Not the yield I had my hopes up for. Had some issues with my pH I needed to sort, but I'm happy with my first grow. I dont have the exact numbers yet.
Here is some pics from just before I cut here down.

And here is the fruits of my labor A little bigger yield would have ben awesome. But overall, I think it's a great first grow
Here you also see my herb garden. Without herbs atm They are germinating.

And this is the skeleton.

My buds are curing atm. I will post some pics in a few day's.
