Should I trim?

I have a plant I'm doing LST on. It's only about 3.5 weeks old. It has a lot of suckers/new colas forming but some are covered by large leaves. Is it ever appropriate to trim some of the larger leaves? I's a northern light auto. Will they eventually push their way clear?

How far away is your light source? Looks really compact. Should have 18-20” and then the plant will stretch toward light.

Well if your LSTing well yeah bend it so the light reaches the rest, and then they will quickly push out, no need to trim just yet me thinks.

Ah see I use the opposite, but maybe I should give stretch a try as well, I always go looking for the distance to counter stretch so that she barely moves upwards but keeps making fat leaves she slides out on top of each other.
