Slow draining plant

IM on week 7 and did a flush here. I have 2 plants, both are in 5 gallon pots. Both are 3 feet tall above the dirt. One is just a monster plant. This is the plant with the slow draining soil. I mean really slow. Like there is a clog. Am I to assume that it is from excessive root growth.

First one drains fine, goes through water like any other plant.

The one plant I have took about 45 mins to go through 5 gallons of water, probally more like an hour.

I know the soil is destoried to begin with. This plant has 2 times as much flower as the other one. And this plant has been screwed 2 times. Once in veggie a light fell on and broke the off one of the main stalks, than same thing happened in flowering. But it never stopped growing.

Im worried about the slow drainage being an issue. All is well with the plant, they are both at end of their days,1 to 3 weeks left.

Take a thin long nail/stick/bamboo and just pierce the soil from top to the bottom in few places, should help.
Happy grow!
