Spray water on the leaves?

We just got some plants started, (see my grow journal) and one of my associates thinks we should use a spray bottle to spray the leaves 2-3 times each day, in addition to the normal watering every few days. Using RO water with no fertilizer in it. The plants are in day 4 of growing today.

I think that will burn the leaves from light reflecting through the water droplets. I think if we should spray at all, it should only be when the lights go out at night.

Any ideas on this?

2-3 times a day is a bit excessive... I usually foliar feed my veg plants once between watering's... If your airflow is good and you don't leave big droplets then they won't burn... I like to do it a little bit after my lights go on... It's another one of those "personal choice" things...It's not good to get the ladies all wet ( pun totally intended) and leave them in the dark.. May risk mold or mildew.... :peace:
