I was invited to join the Oregon Pain Management Commission's sub-commitee to develope pain management training for medical students, nurses, and pharmacists. This is a great opportunity to have a real voice in policy making in my State. I'm pretty excited!:cheer:

Congrats SG, I am, all for the Individual getting involved in OUR health care options.

Please don't forget that in Oregon, with the HMO system in place the opportunities for Dr's to prescribe Cannabis is very limited.. They hate to offer any pain meds at all// why?

Because the Feds are determining who gets pain meds now.. not your doctor!

Just try to get your PAID for insurance to sign you up for a MMOP card... or any other pain med!

My experience has shown that doctors are badly trained to deal with pain. I will be working with the Pain Commission to develope ciriculum for reaching them how to deal with pain.
