TDs & EC readings

Hello I recently got what I thort was a good (hydro axis) ec metre for $60 at the local hydro shop, my problem is I was using a $25 tds metre which reads in ppm and is now broken hence the up grade but there's no decimal point on the reading and has a small 100 in the top left corner is it ment to be 0.3 it's all a bit to much for my little brain haha im use to ppm not ec so any help would be much appreciated thanks!!!
